Our certificates compound interest daily and can pay monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or at maturity. Interest may be deposited directly to your Flagler Bank account, added to the principal of the CD or paid by check.
Early Withdrawal Penalties - A penalty may be imposed for withdrawals
before maturity. If your account has an original maturity of less than one year
but greater than 31 days, the fee we may impose will equal three month’s
interest on the amount withdrawn, subject to penalty.
If your account has an original maturity of one year or greater, the fee
we may impose will equal six month’s interest on the amount withdrawn,
subject to penalty.
In certain circumstances such as the death or incompetence
of the owner of this account, the law permits, or in some
cases requires, the waiver of the early withdrawal penalty.
